Nittany Lane Weather uses a Davis Vantage Pro2 Wireless Weather Station. The orginal Oregon Scientific WMR968 Wireless Solar Powered Weather Station was retired in December 2020. The Nittany Lane Weather Station comprises of an anemometer, a thermo-hydro sensor, and rain gauge installed in optimal locations for highest accuracy possible. The website is updated every 2 minutes using CumulusMX software. The Nittany Lane Weather Station also has a Logitech C920S HD Pro webcam that provides an image every 30 seconds during daylight hours.
